A funny thing happened on the way to the ADEPT Street Lighting Group: I saw – and photographed – an electric vehicle (EV) charging on the street. Unfortunately, not something you see everyday.

This was quite appropriate as the meeting itself went a little bit off track to look at the thorny issue of providing charging for the increasing number of electric vehicles (EVs) on our streets. But it came back to how the lamp post could be the answer.
