Taxi driver protest to bring central London to a standstill

 

Thousands of black cab drivers are expected to bring areas of central London to a standstill from 2pm on Wednesday 11 June as they protest against a new app to hire taxis, in action that some suggest could cost the capital’s economy £125m.
