SMART Highways editor talks driverless vehicles on TV

 

The editor of our sister publication, SMART Highways, was interviewed on BBC Scotland’s flagship news programme about when we can expect to see fully autonomous vehicles on our roads.

Paul Hutton appeared on The Nine on Wednesday (13 November) to discuss the driverless car – and bus – technology being demonstrated at the CAV Scotland event in Glasgow, which was organised by Transport Network on behalf of Transport Scotland.

Presenters Rebecca Curran and Martin Geissler asked him about the technology, its implementation and timescales after a full feature about the demonstrations that took place at the event.
