RSTA postpones conference until October

The Road Surface Treatments Association (RSTA) has announced plans to move its annual conference from April to 22 October 2020 in reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The RSTA's flagship event will remain at the Belfry Hotel and Rersort near Sutton Coldfield (pictured) for this new date, which moves the event out of what is expected to be a peak in the impact of the coronavirus in the UK.

'There will be no additional costs involved and the conference will follow the same format,' the RSTA confirmed.

Outgoing chief executive Mike Harper said: 'Suppliers have worked with us, last week and over the weekend, to just move everything to that date.'

The organisers will be in touch to confirm that delegates and supporters are able to make October.
