Plans for Lower Thames crossings are heading for failure

 

I have been involved with East London River Crossings since 1984 then for the Greater London Council. I am a civil engineer and have actually built roads, including a town centre bypass in East London, however from my knowledge of London and dealing with East London River Crossings, transport for Greater London and for East London Boroughs, I am firmly convinced that the present road proposals, with or without tolling, are significantly flawed.

Rather than solving the problems that they are supposed to, they will cause more problems in the area and elsewhere in London.
