New signalling systems and around 250 new walk-through, air-cooled trains from the mid 2020s on the Piccadilly, Waterloo & City, Bakerloo and Central lines are planned.

London Underground and WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff haave been working on planning the upgrades for at least the last two and a half years through a number of specialist services, including system integration management, requirements management, systems architectures, interface management, migration planning and configuration management.

Paul Quintavalle, associate system integration consultant at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, said: 'The New Tube for London will greatly improve the way many of us travel across our capital; and it’s exciting to remain at the heart of London Underground’s Programme team, a place we have earned through hard work and a close client relationship.'
