New conference to lift the lid on regional transport

This November a major new transport conference hosted by Surveyor Events will lift the lid on the sub-national transport agenda, which from next year is set to transform the sector.

The first conference of its kind, Successful Regional Transport 2016 comes at a crucial time with three sub-national transport bodies, Transport for the North (TfN), Midlands Connect and England's Economic Heartland all in line for statutory status, with the process beginning in 2017 with TfN.

They will be joined by Tony Ciaburro, a corporate director of place at Northamptonshire County Council and a key architect of the England's Economic Heartland's bid, who will give his insights from the local government side.

To be held at the Macdonald Hotel, Manchester, on 10 November 2016, Successful Regional Transport 2016 is a one-day forum designed to equip authorities with the tools to ensure that they are at the forefront when delivering a joined up local transport plan for the future, and by booking now you can take advantage of substantial early bird discounts.
