Highways England's quest for winter's Holy Grail

In 2014, Transport Network spoke to the Highways Agency, as it was then, about major plans to modernise its winter service provision.

The ambitious proposals included talk of what some call the Holy Grail of winter maintenance, freezing point forecasting. Over a year later, we caught up with them again to see how things have developed.
