We may see more of the GTR model

 

The unions were right to highlight the strange nature of the Southern Rail rescue plan announced last week by transport secretary Chris Grayling.

However, they were wrong to suggest that the £20m announced by Grayling was a bonanza for Govia, the operator of the benighted GTR contract that includes Southern, who have been widely criticized for the terrible service on the route.
