‘Zero tolerance’ to alcohol

 
Bus drivers working in Britain and the rest of the EU should not let a drop of alcohol pass through their lips when they are working, a new European Parliament report has recommended.
Following up the European Commission’s review of the EU road safety action plan, a parliament transport committee report said: ‘There should be a EU-wide zero alcohol limit for new drivers, as well as for professional commercial vehicle or bus drivers.’
