Workers make an impact

 
Borough of Poole Council has completed work to repair vehicle-impact damage to Poole Bridge ahead of schedule. The local authority revealed that due to dry weather, contractors were able to complete the work quickly, and overnight lane closures were no longer necessary.


Tony Parfett, senior civil engineer technician at the council, said: ‘We would like to thank our contractors, who worked especially hard to complete these works as soon as possible in order to minimise disruption to traffic.’
