Waste: Oceana’s in deep water

 
Magistrates in Luton fined Oceana Television & Media £21,000 and £400 in costs after it pleaded guilty to three charges of unlawful waste disposal and one charge of failing to provide a waste transfer notice.
Cllr Roy Davis, Luton Council’s portfolio holder for recycling and waste management, said: ‘This sends a clear message to anyone who thinks dumping waste is an acceptable alternative to acting responsibly.’
