Waste: Final days for Surrey study

 
A consultation on waste management facilities – including recycling sites and potential energy-from-waste plants – will end in Surrey this week.
Surrey County Council has been asking for residents’ views on the waste plan since autumn last year, with two formal consultations followed by a final version of the plan being drafted for the approval of ministers.
The scheme is one half of a county-wide solution to the ever-increasing household waste mountain created in Surrey every year.
