Waste: Discord at Haringey Accord

 
A dispute between Haringey Accord and staff belonging to the Transport and General Workers Union has left more than 95,000 residents in the London Borough of Haringey without their bins being emptied for more than a week. The company plans to remove two refuse trucks from collection rounds and divide the work between remaining crews, and is offering staff £1,450 each for the extra work.
