Walking ads are first step

 

Transport for London has launched its ‘first ever’ campaign toencourage people to walk rather than take the car on short journeys.
The poster and radio ads ask the question ‘Why not walk it?’, focusing on the school run and commute to work. Research shows half of all car journeys in outer London are less than 2km, a distance which can be walked in about 25 minutes.
