UK ‘failing to meet necessary cuts in carbon’

 

The Government is failing to achieve necessary emissions reductions and will struggle to meet its carbon targets unless efforts are intensified, advisers have warned. The Committee on Climate Change’s (CCC) annual progress report found that overall, carbon emissions rose by 3% during 2010.
