Greater Manchester’s Yellow School Buses were used for nearly 20,000 school trips last year. The buses are used to take pupils to and from 22 schools, but they are also being hired for trips to museums, sports centres and theatres. There are now 36 Yellow School Buses in Greater Manchester, and another 120 could be introduced over the next years if the Transport Innovation Fund bid is successful.
