Transport: Rugby goal to go car free

Rugby Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council are offering free water bottles and bicycle checks to cyclists, and free bus travel to 200 motorists, if they agree to leave their cars at home as part of celebrations to mark International In Town Without a Car Day on Thursday 21 September.
Rugby mayor Cllr Tina Avis said: ‘More people than ever are choosing public transport or their cycles to come into the town. This will give people who would not normally catch the bus the opportunity to try it for free.’
