Transport: New climate for cyclists

Transport secretary, Douglas Alexander, has announced an extra £15M for cycling to respond to ‘the challenge of climate change’. Cycling England’s budget was doubled to £30M, which will boost the ‘links to school’ project to connect schools to the national cycling network, and provide cycle training for up to 100,000 more children.
