Children are being used to combat speeding drivers in Norwich. Using a speed gun, police stop motorists exceeding the limit and offer them a choice – a fixed penalty notice for £60 and three points on their licence, or a verbal warning from a schoolchild. Those electing for the verbal warning are then faced with a telling off from two children reading a message which outlines the danger speeding motorists pose to young children and urging them to think twice.
