Transport: Bus first for Huntingdon

Major works to build Huntingdon’s first-ever bus lane as part of a £1.4M public transport scheme began this week.
The new contra-flow bus lane will bring major improvements to bus passengers in the area by enabling buses to turn right from George Street.
Cambridgeshire project manager, Mike Eatock, said: ‘This scheme is going to bring major improvements for bus passengers in Huntingdon. When it is completed, it will mean time savings for passengers and bus companies alike.’
