Leading technical services provider Imtech Traffic and Infra has re-branded itself Dynniq, with plans to develop into an advanced technology partner.
The move follows the company’s take over in August 2015 by the investment company Egeria.
In a statement from Dynniq, released today, the company said ‘energising mobility’ is the motto behind its re-brand, which will see the firm positioned around three main markets: mobility, parking and energy.
Cees de Wijs, CEO of Dynniq said: ‘Designing, connecting and integrating systems is what we are good at. This is also going to be our focus in the coming years.
‘Cooperative systems will provide communication between vehicles, and between vehicles, roadside systems and parking management solutions. We were the first in the Netherlands to develop products to make cooperative applications possible. Under the name of Dynniq we will continue to develop these and other technologies.’
With over 1800 employees Dynniq is active in Europe, South America, the United States and Canada.
Among the well-publicised flagship projects of the former Imtech Traffic and Infra, the company was co-responsible for the construction of the Solaroad, an innovative road surface converting sunlight into energy.
