Taking to the streets

A £16M programme to transform 14 of Belfast’s main streets and public spaces has got under way.
Launching the project, social development minister, Margaret Ritchie, said she would invest £500,000 in commissioning a number of new artworks to ‘complement our new streets’. The project is set for completion in May 2009.
