Pig heads, trotters and a burnt-out bed were among the dumped items found by a local council, it revealed at the launch of a crackdown on fly-tipping.
The unusual rubbish items were among 1,300t of rubbish left each year on footways, roads and streams around the Mendip district.
Mendip District Council is launching a new poster campaign with the national Keep Britain Tidy project to encourage people to use the 500 litterbins across the area.
