The council which has done the most to improve the sustainability of transport infrastructure within its boundaries will be recognised at The MJ Local Government Achievement Awards 2009.
The Sustainable Transport Strategy Achievement of the Year is the latest category to be added to The MJ awards, thanks to sponsorship from business services group, Mouchel. The MJ is Surveyor’s sister magazine.
Judges will be looking for evidence of a coherent, long-term strategy which both helps communities and includes sound environmental principles.
