Streetscene: Chewing over the options

West Sussex has decided not to use a new solution to cleaning chewing gum from streets after finding ‘no obvious distinction’ between treated and untreated areas. A county spokesman said that instead of using the Protect it product, it will concentrate resources on awareness campaigns.
