Staff lured by cheap travel

Council staff are being offered half-price bus fares to encourage them to swap their car for more environmentally-friendly travel to and from work.
The deal, brokered by the East Sussex County Council with bus operators, is part of a long-term plan to persuade and financially reward a change in attitudes throughout the organisation about environmental issues.
