Skew crossing reopens

A £1.6M roadworks project was finished this week with the reopening of the A3082 crossing at Skew Bridge.
The road has been opened after a scheme to provide better headroom for high-sided heavy goods vehicles using the route was completed.
The project, funded jointly by Cornwall County Council and mining firm Imerys, will reduce the number of HGVs needing to use residential roads in the area.
