Skanska awarded DLR link

The contract for the Docklands Light Railway extension to provide better access for the Olympics has been awarded this week.
Skanska, in partnership with GrantRail, won the £39M project from Transport for London to build the Stratford International Station link, which is expected to play a key role in transport plans for the 2012 games.
Work will start immediately and is scheduled for completion in 2009.
