The role of trees and farmlands in reducing the risk of flooding is to be investigated in two of six new projects aimed at pushing the boundaries of policy on flooding and coastal erosion.
Funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the projects will test out innovative approaches to managing flooding and coastal erosion across the country.
