SMPs’ steps for active travel

 
Scottish MPs are to investigate measures to increase walking and cycling as a main form of transport.

Members of the Scottish Parliament’s transport, infrastructure and climate change committee will examine the efforts made by central and local government in promoting active travel, while welcoming views from all interested organisations and individuals.

The inquiry will also seek to identify barriers to further progress and consider good practice from other countries.
