Routing out cyling fears

 
A new cycle route will link the town of Stockport to Manchester’s airport and cycle routes.


Stockport Council has designed the route to encourage less-confident cyclists to get active and make more journeys by bike. It is working with Manchester City Council to link Stockport’s cycle route with Manchester’s.


The route has also been designed to enable cyclists to join the Trans Pennine Trail, part of the National Cycle Network, which runs between Liverpool and Hull.
