Road safety: Road rage around embassy

 
The US Embassy in London is locked in dispute with Westminster City Council over its desire to close the last two remaining trafficked streets beside the building, on security grounds.
The embassy believes the access to Upper Grosvenor Street and Upper Brook Street makes it vulnerable to a terrorist attack, and residents on the Grosvenor Square Safety Group agree.
But Westminster council says London cannot be made safer by closing streets one-by-one, and discussions have failed to resolve the issue.
