Scotland’s largest road and traffic engineering conference and exhibition, Road Expo Scotland, is expanding even further this year.
For the first time the conference will have two CPD accredited seminar programmes running simultaneously, with the agendas and speakers selected by Transport Scotland, the Society of Chief Officers of Transportation in Scotland (SCOTS) and Surveyor.
Fergus Ewing MSP, cabinet secretary for rural economy and connectivity, will deliver the keynote address, and Scott Allan, chairman of SCOTS, will discuss how best to unlock the full potential of transport services in Scotland.
A range of senior figures from Transport Scotland will also be speaking as well as James Ledgerwood, head of economic development at Scotrail and officials from Glasgow, Midlothian and Scottish Borders councils.
Case studies and presentations from leading contractors such as Amey, will be combined with an agenda that covers two of the most essential issues of our time; how we manage ever more extreme weather and the future of ITS technology.
Celebrating its 12th anniversary this year, more than 1,000 attendees are expected at this free event.
Road Expo takes place on the 2-3 November in Edinburgh this year. The event will feature more than 100 exhibitors and two CPD certified seminar theatres, curated by Transport Scotland and SCOTS. To book your free place register here.
