Rise dispels parking worry

The number of people paying to park in Lewes in East Sussex has risen by 12% in the six months up to March.
Cllr Matthew Lock lead member for transport, said the increase on last year’s figures demonstrated local claims that civil parking enforcement had driven people away ‘are not borne out by the facts’.
