‘Ring & ride’ vehicle boost

Passengers using Greater Manchester’s ‘Ring & ride’ service will soon be able to travel further afield, thanks to 19 new minibuses.

 From January, the door-to-door transport service will journey into neighbouring districts for the first time. Cllr Andrew Fender, chair of Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority, said: ‘Ring & ride provides an essential transport service for people of all ages who find it difficult to use ordinary public transport.’
