An innovative bus link designed to serve a £400M mixed-use development started operating this week. A total of 14 dedicated buses will be used on the £14.8M Fastrack route linking Dartford and the Bluewater shopping centre. They are fitted with satellite-tracking equipment and can switch traffic signals to help smooth journeys. Fastrack is designed to integrate the entire Kent Thameside area across the Gravesham and Dartford boroughs by linking new and existing communities with one another.
