Regenerators branch out

Work is due to start on a £5.5M improvement scheme for a key retail area of Liverpool city centre.

The Church Street-Lord Street project will kick off with the removal of the roads’ existing trees that are in poor condition, due to the risk of branches falling on pedestrians. They will be replaced with 33 mature trees later in the scheme, which also includes granite paving.
