Regeneration: Liverpool gets high-minded

 
Plans were revealed this week to build a 36-storey apartment block, hotel and conference centre in Liverpool.
The centrepiece of the plan is a 135-bedroom hotel, planned for the Princes Dock area, and the Mersey Property Company, which is negoatiating with with city council on the design, has said ‘We aim to deliver an iconic, high-quality development for the city’s Capital of Culture.’
