Railway timetable unveiled

 
A timetable for delivery of theWaverly Railway to the Borders in Scotland has been announced,with work due to start in 2011 and completion expected at the end of 2013 at a cost of around £235 to £295M.

The project has been handed to the national transport agency Transport Scotland to deliver, in partnership with the rail industry. The line will serve a combined population of around 200,000 in the Scottish borders and Midlothian.
