Quant becomes president

Alison Quant replaces Brian Smith as president of the CSS (County Surveyors’ Society) this week.

Quant, who is also director of environment at Hampshire County Council, steps up from her role as CSS vice president.

George Batten, director of environmental services at Wiltshire County Council, is now vice president.
