Councils across England have joined together to drive home the message ‘stop means stop’ when it comes to lollipop men and women.
Some drivers still ignore the stop signs.
~David Sparks~ chairman of the Local Government Association’s environment board, said: ‘Thoughtless drivers need to be reminded in no uncertain terms they are committing a criminal offence if they fail to stop.’
