Pictures support road claims

City of Edinburgh Council is hoping to show the public it is getting road repair work carried out by taking progress photos of the city’s pavements as they are fixed.
The before and after photos will be published in the council’s newspaper to show that money is being spent on road repairs.
‘People don’t notice when a road has been done, because they have forgotten what it looked like before,’ a council spokeswoman said.
