Consultants Mott MacDonald and Gifford have formed a partnership to secure the professional services contract for ~Hampshire County Council~.
Mott Gifford beat five other firms, including incumbent Atkins, to get the work, which starts on 1 April. The contract runs to 2008 with an option to extend for two more years. Hampshire expects greater efficiency and closer collaboration with the in-house team on engineering design and transport planning.
