Parking victory for Parade

A police crackdown on cars and delivery vehicles parking illegally on footways in Leamington Spa is under way.
Warwick District Council fears drivers could damage newly-laid paving slabs in the Parade as part of a makeover of the main shopping area.
A police spokesman said: ‘If officers find vehicles parked on the paving or in other unauthorised areas, tickets will be issued.’
