Opening time for Greenwich’s dramatic peninsular square

Peninsula Square has opened at the heart of Greenwich Peninsula, the new riverside community for London.
The contemporary new square features dramatic water features, longitude lines marking the Greenwich Meridian and a stage and ‘video’ wall. It will host special events, festivals and performances. The square also features a landmark stainless steel sculpture, the Peninsula Spire.
Nigel Hugill, spokesperson for Greenwich Peninsula, said: ‘Peninsula Square will become one of the most recognised squares in London. It will be a place where people can congregate, and will create a memorable first impression for visitors.’
