October revolution for NI

Northern Ireland is on track to introduce decriminalised parking in October this year. The Department for Regional Development has not set a precise date but is hoping to be ready with the system by the autumn. At present, parking infringements in the whole of Northern Ireland remains a criminal offence, enforced by the police.
