The current condition of suburban areas and ways of rejuvinating them will be highlighted in a report being prepared by the British Urban Regeneration Association.

The report, due next month, will outline the problems suburbs face in attracting investment as a result of competition from regenerated city centres. BURA has noted calls for suburbs to become greater priorities for regeneration.
More than 86% of people live in suburbs and a considerable growth in new households is expected.
