Never miss your bus again

Mobile phone users can text for real-time bus information under a new service launched by Brighton & Hove City Council.

The service allows bus users to text the bus stop code to 84268 and receive a text with the next four buses to arrive at the stop.

By adding the bus number onto the bus stop code, the next four buses on that route will be sent to the phone.

Cllr Geoffrey Theobald said: ‘Texting for your bus is just one of a number of ways that the council has embraced new technology and media.’
