Much more in Bodmin for those who want to walk

A walk-to-work initiative has been launched in Cornwall to encourage commuters off the county’s roads.
The scheme, by ~North Cornwall District Council~ has provided an additional 3.5kms of new routes centred on the tourist town of Bodmin. Around £750,000 has been spent on the creating the new trials, representing a major investment for the district.
The most innovative corridor is at the heart of Bodmin, where a 1.5km route links the two sides of the town to the south of the central hill known as the Beacon. It follows a railway corridor and provides a direct link between residential neighbourhoods and centres of education, commerce and leisure.
